The problem
In the late 2000s, schools and students in Türkiye had few online tools for practice, assessment and remote teaching.
The approach
A training portal (2008), an online revision system, the Ellipse e-whiteboard for remote teaching, synchronous web-based lessons (2011), online homework tracking and OMR-supported instant test evaluation (2011), and a live web-based mathematics competition (2012).
Who it is for
Students preparing for high-school and university entrance exams, and their teachers.
Details
- Coordinated a 35-teacher team that produced 15 university-entrance and 15 high-school-entrance practice examinations with solutions.
- Prepared the Turkish localization of the Cinderella interactive geometry software (2011).
- Established online professional communities for mathematics and geometry teachers.
